Introducing BIWS 1-Year Access Plans

Our 1-year plans offer time-limited access to courses on this site at significantly reduced rates.

This means you can access many videos, models, and guides and receive support for technical and career questions at discounts ranging from ~60% to ~85% off the normal prices.

The caveat, or “fine print,” is that you can only do so within a 1-year period (365 days).

These 1-year plans are ideal if you want to pay less in exchange for a shorter access period.

If you plan to use the training on this site for several years, you get a better deal by purchasing individual courses.

All the 1-year plans here come with the same 90-day money-back guarantee we have always offered on all the other courses and guides.

Note that these are “1-year plans,” NOT subscriptions, so they do NOT renew automatically.

If you want to continue using the site, you can purchase access for another 1-year period when your first year is over.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why are you offering 1-year plans now? Previously, you only offered products with course access that did not expire.

The short answer is:

1) These one-year plans make the courses more accessible for students who only need them for a short period. Our courses are geared toward preparation for interviews, internships, and full-time jobs, so most people do not need to use them for many years.

2) There is no “requirement” to use these 1-year plans. You can still purchase individual courses and gain access that does not expire, but the prices are higher that way, in line with their original levels.

Q: Why should I pay for only 1 year of access rather than paying for access that does not expire?

The obvious answer is that you’ll pay less if you only need course access for 1 year.

Also, if you sign up for the Platinum plan, you’ll receive free access to new courses released during your access period.

These 1-year plans are most appropriate if you need to take a “survey approach” in your prep by completing simpler case studies across many areas rather than going in-depth into one specific vertical.

Q: Previously, you offered "subscriptions" with plans that automatically renewed. Why did this change? Which plan am I on?

If you signed up before July 1, 2026, you are on the $497 / year plan that renews automatically. You can cancel this automatic renewal when you log into the site and go to the Billing area (or email us to do the same).

If you signed up on or after July 1, 2026, you are on a 1-year plan that does not renew automatically.

We changed the default behavior because the vast majority of students and professionals on this plan only wanted to use the site for one year, so it seemed silly to renew the plan by default.

Also, we found that many of the “renewals” were mistakes or oversights that users later ended up cancelling.

So, to save everyone time and money, we changed the default behavior and made these into actual 1-year plans rather than subscriptions.

Q: Why do you no longer offer the "one-time payment" option for the Platinum package for everything on the site?

Very few students and professionals were interested in this package, which was priced at $1497, and it caused many problems over the years, so we decided to remove it.

Right after we introduced the “$497 for 1 year” plan, about 98% of Platinum sales shifted to that option, indicating there was little interest in the “indefinite access” plan.

Also, shared accounts, hacked/stolen accounts, and general copyright abuse became significant problems.

For example, many people attempted to use these plans as “office accounts” or “family accounts,” which we do not allow (each user must have a separate account).

While we sometimes encounter these problems with the individual courses and the 1-year plans, they are much less common and easier to resolve when they do occur.

Q: Can I pay less for your other products by purchasing them via 1-year plans?

No. These 1-year plans are only for packages of courses, not individual ones.

The courses cost more when purchased individually, but you’re also not limited to a 1-year access period, so the trade-offs are clear.

Q: Can I get a free trial before signing up?

No. We have hundreds of free YouTube videos and Knowledge Base articles, so you should be able to get a sense of the courses from these samples.

We also offer a 90-day money-back guarantee, so there is no risk if you evaluate the courses within this time frame and decide they’re not for you.

Q: How does the money-back guarantee work for these 1-year plans?

It’s still a 90-day money-back guarantee. Take 90 days to evaluate the courses and see if they match your requirements and learning style. If they do, great.

If not, you can cancel your plan within 90 days and get a refund.

Note that by default, these 1-year plans do not renew, so they are not “subscriptions.” Therefore, you can stay for a year, learn what you need, and move on.

Q: Can multiple people share one account? For example, can a friend and I both use the same login?

No. The rules have always been one account per user.

We monitor all site logins and periodically flag accounts with suspicious activity (full login activity is recorded for each account).

Also, you will soon have to log in via two-factor authentication (2FA) using your email address or mobile phone number, which restricts each account to one person.

Q: What if we want to sign up for a group license as a company? Can we transfer plans to new employees in that case?

If an employee leaves and you continue to pay for a 1-year plan each year on an ongoing basis, yes, you can transfer an account to a new employee.

However, multiple employees cannot use a single account at the same time – it’s still one account per user.

Q: How much new content will you add each year?

If you consider just the Platinum plan for everything on the site, we plan to add ~20 to 30 hours of new training each year.

These hours might take the form of new, separate courses or revisions/updates of existing courses, such as a new case study added to one of the industry-specific courses.

If you consider the other plans, there is usually one substantial update across the Interview Guide and Core Financial Modeling course each year (e.g., a new version of a module, a new written guide, or a new case study).

Q: Can you guarantee the exact courses, updates, or additions you will make each year?

No. It depends on the interest in different topics and whether existing training needs updates or new versions.

Also, some new courses might be shorter (~10 hours), while others might be longer (20+ hours); it depends on the topic and the pricing.

We don’t like to “guarantee” or “promise” specific courses because plans change, and there is already a lot of content in our existing library (equivalent to several levels of the CFA).

Q: What happens when my 1-year plan ends? Can I still ask questions? What about the course content?

You can keep the Excel files, guides, and case studies you have downloaded, but you will lose access to the videos, certification quizzes, and support.

So, you will not be able to ask questions and receive answers anymore, but you can still use the course materials you have downloaded.

If you want to continue using the site beyond one year, you can sign up for another 1-year plan or one of the individual courses or packages.

Q: I want to sign up for a second year of access. How can I do that?

Simply go to the Courses page, select the 1-year access option you want, and enter your billing information.

You can also use one of the buttons at the top of this page for the Silver, Gold, or Platinum options.
