Introducing The BIWS Platinum Annual Plan

The annual plan for the BIWS Platinum Package offers our entire training library for $497 per year.

This means you can access every video, model, and guide on this site and receive full support for technical and career questions within this period.

You’ll also receive access to all new courses and additions released within your membership period.

It comes with the same 90-day money-back guarantee we have always offered on all the courses and guides.

This annual plan is ideal if you want to pay less in exchange for a shorter access period. For example, if you need to use the site intensively, but only over 1 – 2 years, you get a better deal with this plan.

You can still purchase the Platinum package via a one-time fee of $1497 (sign up here).

If you plan to use this training for more than 2 years, this one-time purchase option is a better deal for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why are you offering an annual subscription plan now? Previously, all your products were one-time purchases.

The short answer is:

1) An annual fee makes the courses more accessible for students who only need them for 1 – 2 years. Our courses are geared toward preparation for interviews, internships, and full-time jobs, so most people do not need to use them for 5 – 10 years.

2) Our business model has changed, and we’re now producing new courses each year. So, it makes more sense to charge an annual rate for these new additions instead of continually increasing the price on a single package.

3) This subscription plan only applies to the Platinum package for everything on the site. You can still purchase individual courses separately via one-time payments.

Q: Why should I pay for this annually rather than upfront in a one-time fee?

The obvious answer is that you’ll pay less if you only need course access for 1 – 2 years.

Also, by paying annually, you will receive free access to new courses released within your membership period.

Finally, this annual plan is appropriate if you need “a little bit of everything,” such as simple case studies from across all the courses, but you don’t need to go in-depth into any area.

Q: Can I pay less for your other products by purchasing them via annual subscriptions?

No. This annual plan is only for the Platinum package for everything on the site.

The courses cost more when purchased individually, but you’re also not limited to a 1-year access period, so the trade-offs are clear.

Q: How is this annual plan different from paying the one-time price in installments over 4, 6, or 12 months?

The difference is that if you use installments for the one-time purchase option, once the installments are finished, you don’t pay anything else.

On the other hand, with the annual plan, you pay for access to the existing library and the new courses that get released. You can also choose to end your membership if you no longer need to use the site.

Q: Can I get a free trial before signing up?

No. We have hundreds of free YouTube videos and Knowledge Base articles, so you should be able to get a sense of the courses from these samples.

We also offer a 90-day money-back guarantee, so there is no risk if you evaluate the courses within this time frame and decide they’re not for you.

Q: How does the money-back guarantee work for this annual plan?

It’s still a 90-day money-back guarantee. Take 90 days to evaluate the courses and see if they match your requirements and learning style. If they do, great.

If not, you can cancel your subscription within 90 days and get a refund.

You can also choose to remain a member for a year and then not renew for the next year if you don’t need the courses for that long.

Q: Can multiple people share one subscription? For example, can a friend and I both use the same login?

No. The rules have always been one account per user.

We monitor all site logins and periodically flag accounts with suspicious activity (full login activity is recorded for each account).

Also, you will soon have to log in via two-factor authentication (2FA) using your email address or mobile phone number, which restricts each account to one person.

Q: What if we want to sign up for a group license as a company? Can we transfer subscriptions to new employees in that case?

If an employee leaves and you continue to pay for the annual subscription, yes, you can transfer an account to a new employee.

However, multiple employees cannot use a single account at the same time – it’s still one account per user.

Transferring the account to a new employee is acceptable as long as you continue to pay for the subscription.

Q: How much content will you add each year if I sign up for the annual plan?

We plan to add ~20 to 30 hours of new training each year.

These might be in the form of new, separate courses or revisions/updates of existing courses. Or it could be something like a course split and additions to the new, spun-off courses.

Q: Can you guarantee the exact courses or new additions you will make each year?

No. It depends on the interest in different topics and whether existing training needs updates or new versions.

Also, some new courses might be shorter (5 – 10 hours), while others might be longer (15 – 20 hours); it depends on the topic and the pricing.

We don’t like to “guarantee” or “promise” specific courses because plans change, and there is already a lot of content in our existing library (equivalent to several levels of the CFA).

Q: How can you charge $497 per year but not guarantee a specific number of new courses?

First, there is already a ton of material on the site (300+ hours of training). It’s on par with studying for ~2 levels of the CFA.

This annual fee covers not just the content but also full support, including answers to technical and career questions.

Second, this annual rate represents the approximate price of 1 – 2 new courses, so it is reasonable for the new additions over a year.

That said, no, it is not a great deal if you’re signing up just to get new courses.

If you expect to need new courses sporadically, it makes more sense to purchase them individually.

Q: Do you expect anyone to stay subscribed to this annual plan for many years?

No. As stated above, it’s intended to make the existing training more accessible to a broader audience.

We expect that most students and professionals will continue to purchase courses individually and that if you plan to use our training for 5 or 10 years, you’ll use the one-time payment option.

Q: If I purchase the annual plan, can I upgrade to the “one-time fee” option by paying the difference?

Yes. The upgrade price is based on the one-time fee for the Platinum package minus the annual fees you have paid so far.

Obviously, this makes the most sense if you decide to upgrade in Year 1 or 2 of your membership.

Q: For how long will you offer this annual plan?

It depends on how much interest there is. This is a brand-new offering, so we don’t yet have a great way to gauge demand.

Our general plan is to create new case studies and content for as long as it is useful to do so.

Q: What happens if I do not renew my plan? Can I still ask questions? What about the course content?

You can keep the Excel files, guides, and case studies you have downloaded, but you will lose access to the videos and certification quizzes.

If your plan expires, you will not be able to ask additional questions, but you can renew it or purchase a different product to regain support.

Q: Will the price remain the same at $497 per year forever? What about the price of the one-time purchase option?

The pricing is unlikely to remain the same forever. Inflation alone means the prices will likely increase over the long term, such as a 10 or 15-year period.

More broadly, as we continue to add more content to the site, the prices are likely to go up.

But, again, we will continue to make individual courses available for purchase separately.
